What could make for a better day than playing golf with the rich and famous?  Playing golf and “scoring” a bunch of fabulous gifts and goodies at Doris Bergman’s 2nd Annual Gratitude Lounge at the 11th Annual George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic.  On Monday, May 7th, guest celebrities and VIPs gathered at an exclusive Toluca Lake golf course to enjoy a gorgeous day filled with sunshine and their favorite sport, along with an incredible array of luxury gifts.

The man himself – George Lopez!

Debra Mitchell of Twisted Silver featured her awesome collection of jewelry. What makes her pieces so special, as well as beautiful, is that they are crafted from repurposed and upcycled materials.  She featured her new Earth collection and her Rocker collection with unique and fun necklaces, bracelets and earrings that will get compliments for whoever is wearing them.

Speaking of jewels, there’s a gem in the top of every diamond-shaped bottle of Precious Vodka. The shape of this bottle is super sharp and the vodka goes down super smooth.  It’s such a great looking bottle, you’ll want several for yourself and a lot more to give as gifts.

A big hug for title sponsor Precious Vodka!

What does vodka go great with? Bloody Mary mix, of course.  Lucky for us, Backyard Mary was making her zesty Bloody Mary’s right there or guests could take home the festively wrapped jar for enjoyment at home. As Backyard Mary says, “It’s all about the kick.”

What other spirits are great after a spirited round of golf?  How about some exotic tequila – by Tequila Exotico! This is an award-winning 100% blue agave tequila crafted in Jalisco, Mexico. Two types are available: Blanco and Reposado. We loved the colorful sugar skull on the bottle almost as much as the drink!

Mmmm… Tequila Exotico margaritas!

Guests were able to take home more libations for their liquor cabinet, too.  Christina Powers and her Team Powers Realtors gifted a red wine, and if you want to take your vino on a picnic, blankets were provided by Guaranteed Rate.

What’s more, if you’re on a picnic or traveling, try these unique wine-carrier messenger bags and totes that make a fashion statement. By PortoVino, these wine purses help you “bring the party along.”

In addition to delightful drinks to imbibe, there were decadent delights to ingest. Marijuana is legal in California, and guests were offered delicious, cannabis-infused luxury truffles by Calivolve.  There were also appetizers and treats from Chef Matt, The Premium Cannabis Chef.  Besides edibles, there were topical cannabis products and other awesome skin care products, too.

Since it was a glorious day for golf, Beauty Kitchen by Heather Marianna gifted soaps shaped like golf balls, as well as wonderful products for before sun and after sun.

Melanated Rich Beauty and YouthGlow Skin Care gifted items to keep folks looking and feeling their best, and Bend Skin Care offered an anti-aging skin dietary supplement.

Everyone was “buzzing” about the sunglasses by Vuliwear. Designer Dionne Ellison created the Vuli’s with both fashion and nature in mind. They are made in Italy and feature aviator metal frames with lenses that are inspired by the shapes and patterns of insect eyes. Her style, BlknBlu was inspired by the Damselfly, and the gold-framed Zag was inspired by the African Twig Mantis. People will be eyeing you and how snazzy you are in these shades – and BTW, “Vuli” in Swahili – means “shade”.

We’ve told you about the gifts and goodies – now for the golfers and guests!  The talented and awesome George Lopez holds the Celebrity Golf Classic in conjunction with The George Lopez Foundation, whose mission it is to create positive, permanent change for underprivileged children, adults and military families confronting challenges in education and health, as well as increasing community awareness about kidney disease and organ donation.
